Jessica’s greatest passion is to help women take off the identities they have been given by the world and realize who they are in Christ: known, dearly loved, set apart, and chosen.
Jessica is the senior operations manager at Proverbs 31 Ministries who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Jerry, two sons and dog, Sawyer. Prior to working at Proverbs 31 Ministries, Jessica has over 10 years of experience working in women’s ministry, marriage ministry and outreach.
Jessica Collazo is a Chicago native with a heart that beats for Jesus. Her passion is to challenge women to think differently, gain a new perspective and live confidently. Because she knows, it’s possible.
Using God’s Word, a little bit of humor, strategic way of thinking and personal stories, Jessica offers a fresh take on where to go when women feel stuck, overlooked or overwhelmed.

Jess has been dating Jerry for 17 plus years, married to him for over 16. She still considers him her boyfriend, and loves how he makes her laugh. She calls him her “guardian” because she has learned how to allow him in to the deepest places of her heart and he guards that oh so well. They will be the first to tell you that it has not been easy but it has been worth it.

Josiah + Lucas
Jess is a boy mom who loves cheering them on at sporting events. When she is not driving them around, she’s watching movies with them, playing cards, board games or just hanging out. The boys have taught Jess what life looks like from their eyes and she and Jerry work on teaching them to filter their decisions through God's eyes. This has helped to keep the family grounded through all life has thrown at them.
